The Alliance

The Alliance has the objectives to facilitate the sharing of best practice and harmonisation among the standards of sustainable Eco Tourism. We want to generate knowledge and comprehension of demand for sustainable tourism products in the continent's major tourist source markets.

We have the goal to increase demand for certification by travellers, tour operators and tourism companies by showing the added value and also to stimulate activities and investments of the private sector to promote sustainable tourism by showing the advantages and opportunities of particular management practices.
