In today’s uncertain economic climate there isn’t much we can be certain of in the future. The things we can however be certain of, is the fact that Eskom is having serious problems in supplying electricity, and is likely to be a problem for the foreseeable future. The price of electricity to the consumer is likely to increase substantially over the next five years. The next thing we can be certain of, and according to the new law that domestic consumers using more than 500Kw per month will pay extra for electricity on a sliding scale. We can also be certain that the environment is being severely impacted by the insatiable demand for energy across the world.
