iKhaya means,"a place where something flourishes,.. is most typically found,.. or from which it originates..."

We design and manufacture eco aware products and interiors.

My favourite by far is Jack & Jill, carved from fallen jacaranda trees, these little figurines are simple yet interesting. Jacarandas though beautiful, are classified as alien trees so we believe this to be a great way of changing something unwanted into a beautiful object. We use local artisans to bring our designs to life and hereby create much needed work opportunities in the local community.

We also design and manufacture lighting and furniture either out of plywood and oriented strand board or by revamping old pieces into something new. We have a wide  range of paper products ranging from custom designed embossed cards to re bound notebooks.With the notebooks we replace the damaged pages with plain paper to make a wonderful plain paper notebook the pages that can be saved are turned into packets that we use to package our products. We try not to let anything go to waste!

We constantly strive to improve our designs and re cycling "ethos".
